Thanks to all who made it out to our second Bellport Church concert.  It was made possible by our dear friend Hsuan-Wen, Randy Wong, and most of all, Mark (from the church).  We love playing there because of its humble and live acoustics, sunny and large space, friendly environment and the wonderful patrons that it brings in.  This concert was also unique because Luna Duo had to switch instruments—no, not between violin and viola although that has crossed our minds—from our own to the piano when we performed our short pieces.  It was new and exciting for us, being able to accompany each other on a different instrument.  Maybe this will inspire me to practice piano from now on… ;)

Here’s to a new look for the hot summer days. We also added a photo gallery section with studio portraits taken by NEC alum and pianist Hannah Shields. This summer has been slow as we each have lots of personal work and travel to be done. Stayed tuned for news for the fall… stay cool :]

We had a very good photo session on Friday with a pianist who is a graduate of New England Conservatory.  It was a gorgeous day, sunny and high 70′s, but it was fairly windy.  Maybe alittle too windy to be posing outdoors.  Anyways I won’t give away too much—just a sneak peek of what we looked like from our perspective that day.  The real photos will come soon!
